Monroe’s on Osuna…December 10, 2016

What a great time 20 of us had at Monroe’s.  We had time to get to know each other, share favorite art materials and books and then spent 30 minutes sketching each other.  For some it was pure fun, for others it was like pulling teeth without anesthesia.  Why does drawing people invoke such emotion?  Is it because we don’t practice drawing people?

There was discussion about the coming year.  It was decided that we would continue to meet every three weeks at venues throughout the Albuquerque-Santa Fe area.  Our first meeting of 2017 is January 21st at the Albuquerque Museum of Natural Science and History, 1801 Mountain Road in Albuquerque.  Please put this date on your calendar.   A tentative calendar of dates and venues for 2017 will be posted shortly.  If you have suggestions as to places, please feel free to pass them along.  Please keep in mind ease of parking and cost.
